Jeremiah 17:7-9
1599 Geneva Bible
7 Blessed be the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is.
8 [a]For he shall be as a tree that is planted by the water, which spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not feel when the heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green, and shall not care for the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
9 [b]The heart is deceitful and wicked above all things, who can know it?
